2 Dolphins out, 6 limited in Wednesday practice ahead of Week 3

Raheem Mostert was back on the practice field Wednesday, but Terron Armstead was out of action.

The Miami Dolphins were without offensive lineman Terron Armstead and defensive lineman Calais Campbell in their Wednesday practice and had six players limited due to injuries.

Campbell’s absence was listed as a rest day for the 38-year-old lineman.

Armstead, 33, left the Dolphins’ Week 2 loss to the Buffalo Bills with a shoulder injury and was replaced in the lineup by veteran Kendall Lamm.

“I think he’s day to day,” Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said of Armstead on Monday. “So what that looks like – I feel it’s definitely more of a day-to-day situation, so I’m optimistic.”

Back on the practice field was running back Raheem Mostert, who missed the team’s Week 2 game with a chest injury.

“Raheem is progressing each day,” McDaniel said earlier in the day Wednesday. “That’s a guy I have to read between the lines and not with the words that he tells me, in the most complimentary way. True warrior, getting better every day. So we’ll see an uptick, then you see how he responds so that you can further uptick and not have any steps back.”

The Seahawks had a much lengthier report with eight players missing practice due to injuries, and six limited. The significant one to watch is running back Kenneth Walker III, who sat out Week 2 with an oblique injury.
