WATCH: Kevin O’Connell gives out game balls following Week 2 win

The Minnesota Vikings came off a major win in Week 2 over the reigning NFC Champions, the San Francisco 49ers.

The Minnesota Vikings came off a major win in Week 2 over the reigning NFC Champions, the San Francisco 49ers. The team was an underdog coming into it, but they didn’t listen to the outside noise and secured a win.

As a result, Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell had trouble deciding who would receive a game ball.

The Vikings held on for a 24-17 win on Sunday and O’Connell couldn’t decide on who would receive the game ball. He improvised and decided that everybody on the team would receive one in a move that couldn’t have been more appropriate for the complete team win they had.

The Minnesota Vikings also posted his post-game speech to social media, and you could see the energy was high throughout the locker room. The team also shared a video of Sam Darnold, who was excited to beat the team that cut him less than a year ago.
