Vikings WR Justin Jefferson injured, questionable to return

The Vikings’ star wide receiver is questionable to return after sustaining an injury.

It’s not something Viking fans wanted to see, but star wide receiver got tangled up in the third quarter and went down. It appeared center Garrett Bradbury’s leg clipped Jefferson’s leg and the All-Pro receiver took awhile before getting up. Jefferson slowly went to the sideline into the tent. He then went into the locker room on his own two feet.

It was reported Jefferson was ‘Questionable’ to return and he is dealing with a quad injury.

Jordan Addison is inactive during the game against the 49ers due to an ankle injury suffered in last week’s win against the Giants. Minnesota will have to turn to Jalen Nailor, Brandon Powell, and Trent Sherfield for the remainder of the game if Jefferson cannot return.

The Vikings are now in a dogfight with the 49ers. San Francisco scored a touchdown following Aaron Jones’ fumble on the goalline. Minnesota is up 20-14 at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
