Packers lose first-round pick Jordan Morgan to shoulder injury vs. Colts

The Green Bay Packers ruled out offensive lineman Jordan Morgan for the rest of Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts with a shoulder injury. The Packers initially said Morgan was questionable to return coming out of halftime but quickly downgraded him to out.

Morgan, the 25th overall pick in the 2024 draft, was rotating in and out of the lineup at right guard with Sean Rhyan. With Morgan now out, Rhyan will take all the snaps at right guard.

Morgan missed time during training camp with a shoulder injury. It’s unclear if this shoulder injury is related to the old one or a new injury altogether. Matt LaFleur may provide an update post-game.

The Packers are down to only two backups along the offensive line the rest of the way Sunday: rookie Jacob Monk and tackle Kadeem Telfort.
