Michigan State football is halfway to bowl eligibility thanks to this week’s win over Prairie View A&M. So does Jerry Palm of CBS Sports think the Spartans will go bowling this year? Yes, he does.

Palm released an updated batch of bowl projections on Sunday morning following week three action, and Michigan State was included. Palm has the Spartans staying close to home and playing in the Detroit Bowl against Miami (OH) in his updated projections.

Michigan State is 3-0 on the year following Saturday’s shutout win over Prairie View A&M. The Spartans will need to win three more games this year to reach bowl eligibility.

Next up for Michigan State is a road trip to Boston College. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, and the game will be televised on the ACC Network.
