After a thrilling, come-from-behind road win against South Carolina in which the Tigers trailed 17-0 in the first half, coach Brian Kelly’s team returns home for a non-conference Power Four matchup in Week 4.
LSU plays host to new Big Ten member UCLA, and that game will have “SEC Nation,” the SEC Network’s Saturday morning pregame show, on-site. This will be SEC Nation’s first trip to Baton Rouge since the Tigers hosted Ole Miss in 2022.
We didn’t know what to make of the matchup against the Bruins coming into the year, but now, it doesn’t look particularly scary. After struggling against Hawaii in Week 1 and being idle in Week 2, UCLA was demolished by Indiana in Pasadena in its Big Ten opener on Saturday night.

UCLA is led by a first-year coach in DeShaun Foster, and the Tigers will look to extend their winning streak to three as they get a bit of a break before one of their toughest games of the season.
After hosting the Bruins, LSU will play South Alabama in Week 5 and have a bye in Week 6 before playing host to a potentially top-five Ole Miss team in Week 7.
