Iowa leaned on their ground game and defensive front to win this game by capitalizing on Troy’s mistakes at the best of times.
The Hawkeyes fed lead back Kaleb Johnson once again as he went for 173 rushing yards and two touchdowns to continue his strong start to the season and put himself among the nation’s premier running backs.
Defensively, Iowa answered when it mattered to get pressure and convert turnovers into points despite some earlier errors.
