Watch Tommy Schuster score his first touchdown with Michigan State football

Macomb native Tommy Schuster scored his first touchdown in the green and white

Michigan State football went into the transfer to get themselves their starting quarterback Aidan Chiles, but what goes unnoticed is that the Spartans plucked North Dakota transfer Tommy Schuster to be their backup QB.

Schuster, a Macomb (MI) native, chose to come to East Lansing to be a backup instead of being a starting quarterback elsewhere. Schuster showed that he can have value as a backup quarterback, giving the Spartans a quality insurance policy at the QB spot.

In Michigan State’s win over Prairie View A&M on Saturday, Schuster was rewarded for coming to East Lansing, scoring his first touchdown wearing his hometown green and white.
