WATCH: Jacory Barney Jr. shows off speed with TD run

Nebraska Football freshman wideout Jacory Barney Jr. continues to impress.

Nebraska football had the offense rolling in the second quarter of Saturday’s game against Northern Iowa. This time, freshman wide receiver Jacory Barney Jr. found the end zone for a touchdown.

Barney showed off his speed and, following the extra point, extended the Nebraska football lead to 21-3.

Barney zoomed in for the score as the freshman continued to work his way into the offensive rotation. The Florida native showed off his speed, as he was able to run 18 yards into the end zone for the score. The drive itself took four plays, 80 yards and 2:05 off the clock.

Barney was considered an underrated recruit when Nebraska was able to flip him from the Miami Hurricanes last December. So far, he has shown exactly why, and Saturday’s touchdown was proof of how explosive he can be.
