Alabama suffers three key injuries in dominant road victory over Wisconsin

Alabama loses two starters to injury in Saturday’s victory over Wisconsin.

The first road test of the Kalen DeBoer era could not have gone any better for the Alabama Crimson Tide as they hammered the Wisconsin Badgers 42-10. QB Jalen Milroe continues to build a strong case for the Heisman Trophy early on as he posted 271 all-purpose yards and five total touchdowns today.

However, the victory didn’t come without a few wounds as RB Richard Young, DB Malachi Moore and LB Qua Russaw all left the game injured.

Moore suffered a head injury in the second half and will go through concussion protocol this week. However, he should be back for Georgia in two weeks with no issues. Russaw and Young both suffered lower leg injuries and DeBoer says they will continue to monitor the situation but did not indicate the severity of either.

The Tide will need to be at full strength to take on the No. 1 ranked Bulldogs in a few weeks.
