Multiple reports indicate that one of Nebraska’s top targets in the 2025 recruiting cycle is visiting elsewhere this weekend.
Alamo Heights athlete Michael Terry III, a consensus top-100 prospect in the country, will be visiting the University of Texas this weekend, one week after visiting the Cornhuskers for their 28-10 win over the Colorado Buffaloes.
At this juncture of his recruitment, Terry is considering both the Longhorns and Cornhuskers, with the Oregon Ducks also in the mix. The 6-foot-3, 216-pound native of San Antonio, Texas, also held notable offers from Missouri, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech.
He took official visits this offseason to Nebraska, Texas, Texas A&M, and Oregon. Matt Rhule’s program currently holds 19 commitments in their 2025 recruiting class.
