Juncos Hollinger Racing will become the first team to deploy active display panels in the NTT IndyCar Series at this weekend’s Big Machine Music City Grand Prix at Nashville Speedway.

Taking a page from the innovation brought to major open-wheel racing by the McLaren Formula 1 team, which featured digital panels on the tops of the sidepods next to the cockpit that rotated through a number of sponsor logos, JHR and Seamless Digital have taken the concept inside IndyCar’s aeroscreen driver protection device with dynamic messaging on the inner ring where teams have used stickers to to promote their sponsors since 2020.

The new panels will be able to rotate through sponsor logos on the inside of the aeroscreen ring, as demonstrated by the JHR and Seamless Digital logos above.

“One of our team’s main priorities is to champion the things that other teams haven’t before, leading the charge to change the industry for the better,” said JHR co-owner Ricardo Juncos. “The technology and opportunities Seamless Digital provides to our sponsors and partners will allow our team to grow beyond what has been possible before.”

The use of the inner ring display will be found on the No. 77 JHR Chevy driven by Romain Grosjean.

“Connecting and engaging with the IndyCar community is what guides us here at Juncos Hollinger Racing,” said co-owner Brad Hollinger. “Integrating this new technology allows us to connect directly with every individual who watches and engages with our sport — and we couldn’t be more excited to lead the way on what this could look like in IndyCar.”
