Rams injury report: Team prepares for Cardinals with numerous injuries

The details of the Rams’ first injury report of Week 2 as they prepare to play the Cardinals.

The Arizona Cardinals host the Los Angeles Rams in the home opener Sunday and Los Angeles is dealing with several injuries. That includes wide receiver Puka Nacua (knee), tackle Joseph Noteboom (ankle) and guard Steve Avila (knee), who were all placed on injured reserve Wednesday.

On their first injury report of the week, the Rams had three players that did not practice and two limited.

L.A. Rams Week 1 Wednesday injury report

Did not participate

TE Davis Allen (back)

G Kevin Dotson (foot)

CB Cobie Durant (toe)

Dotson is the starting right guard and played all 78 offensive snaps in the Rams’ Sunday night loss to the Lions. The expectation is that he will play Sunday despite not practicing Wednesday. Durant was injured Sunday, but played 97 percent of the defensive snaps.

Limited participation

T Rob Havenstein (foot)

LB Christian Rozeboom (hip)

The Rams hope Havenstein, the usual starting right tackle, will be able to play after being inactive against the Lions. Rozeboom is a starting inside linebacker and played 74 percent of the defensive snaps and 73 percent of the special teams snaps against Detroit.
