Kentucky offers a top ten 2026 recruit with an NBA father

Kentucky basketball has offered a scholarship to Tajh Ariza, the son of former NBA player Trevor Ariza.

Kentucky basketball coach Mark Pope has been hard at work on the 2026 recruiting class already, while at the same time adding to next year’s group. His latest move is an offer to a top ten player in that class, and Tajh Ariza is a name that might be familiar.

Trevor Ariza played in the NBA for nearly two decades, and even won a championship while playing for the Los Angeles Lakers in 2009. Now, Ariza’s son is one of the top players in the country.
