Jaguars vs. Browns: Wednesday injury reports

The Jaguars’ injury report remains short compared to that of their opponent, much like in Week 1.

But while Jacksonville only lists three injured players as opposed to Cleveland naming 12, the Jaguars’ report included one surprise, given head coach Doug Pederson said on Wednesday the team was in good shape aside from previously-known hurts to defensive backs Tyson Campbell and Daniel Thomas.

Find Jacksonville and Cleveland’s Wednesday injury reports for Week 2 below.

Jacksonville Jaguars

  • OT Cam Robinson (knee) — limited
  • S Daniel Thomas (Achilles) — limited
  • CB Tyson Campbell (hamstring) — did not participate

Analysis: Starting offensive tackle Cam Robinson was the only new addition to the Jaguars’ injury report, considering safety Daniel Thomas’ daily presence on the list last week and starting cornerback Tyson Campbell exited Jacksonville’s Sunday matchup against Miami hurt.

Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said Monday that Campbell will be evaluated weekly in recovery from his hamstring injury, and called the cornerback a potential injured reserve candidate Wednesday.

Pederson suggested Thomas is “getting better” Wednesday, after not playing in Week 1.

Cleveland Browns

  • WR Jerry Jeudy (knee) — full
  • C Nick Harris (knee) — full
  • LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (hand) — full
  • CB Denzel Ward (shoulder) — full
  • OT Jack Conklin (knee) — limited
  • OG Joel Bitonio (elbow) — limited
  • DE Alex Wright (triceps/elbow) — limited
  • DT Dalvin Tomlinson (knee) — limited
  • LS Charley Hughlett (foot) — limited
  • TE David Njoku (ankle) — did not participate
  • OT Jedrick Wills Jr. (knee) — did not participate
  • CB Myles Harden (shin) — did not participate

Analysis: Cleveland head coach Kevin Stefanski ruled star Browns tight end David Njoku out of Sunday’s contest as he nurses what is reportedly feared to be a high-ankle sprain.

Njoku was one of three Browns not to practice Wednesday, alongside fellow starter, offensive tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. Two fellow starting Cleveland offensive linemen, tackle Jack Conklin and guard Joel Bitonio, were also impacted by injuries and limited on Wednesday.
