Gimme him: One player Titans would steal from Jets

If the Tennessee Titans could steal one player from the New York Jets it would have to be their future Hall of Fame quarterback. Here’s why.

The Tennessee Titans will attempt to bounce back in Week 2 when they take on the New York Jets on Sunday during their home opener.

That, of course, provides those of us here at Titans Wire the opportunity to hypothetically steal from the Jets’ roster in search of depth and/or talent upgrades.

In looking over New York’s depth chart, there are plenty of options available. However, one player stands far above the rest: Quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

After watching the Titans against the Chicago Bears, it’s clear they have a defense in place to be a contender. Unfortunately, quarterback Will Levis couldn’t hold up his end of the bargain leading to the loss, making Rodgers the obvious choice.

While the future Hall of Famer may not be the same player he was before the Achilles tear, it would be a tremendous upgrade over Levis. His ability to quickly process the opposition’s defense would transform the Titans’ offense.

With Rodgers, the Titans could take full advantage of a solid veteran receiving corps and a dynamic rushing attack and become a force in the AFC South and with their defense, a playoff contender.

What are your thoughts, Titans fans? Would you pick Aaron Rodgers or steal an entirely different player from the New York Jets?
