Duke football coach [autotag]Manny Diaz[/autotag] confirmed on Monday that tight end Jeremiah Hasley would miss the rest of the 2024 season with a lower leg injury.

Hasley was carted off the field during Friday’s game against Northwestern after he fell backward on a block during punt protection.

The redshirt sophomore caught three passes for 11 yards between the first two games of the season, including a one-yard touchdown against Elon in Week 1. He finished the 2023 season with five receptions for 52 yards and another score.

The Blue Devils now turn to senior Nicky Dalmolin and fellow sophomore Jake Taylor at the tight end position. Diaz praised Taylor’s performance in Hasley’s place during the second half against the Wildcats, and Dalmolin has 57 receptions in 43 career games with the team.
