On Monday, Team USA, which features players like Nelly Korda, Lilia Vu, Rose Zhang and Lexi Thompson, was visited by a special guest at dinner.

Former United States President Barack Obama, a big-time golfer himself, surprised the U.S. squad by sharing some words of encouragement.

Allisen Corpuz, a Hawaiian who won the U.S. Women’s Open at Pebble Beach, shared a handshake with President Obama. The two attended the same school.
