Trojans Wire exclusive photo gallery of USC shutout vs Utah State

Trojans Wire’s Tim Prangley was at the LA Coliseum, taking photos of the USC shutout and blowout of Utah State. Catch your favorite Trojans in action!

When you turn to Trojans Wire, you obviously want analysis and insight, but you also want photos of your favorite USC football players and moments. I was at the Los Angeles Coliseum on Saturday night for the game against Utah State, and I was able to snap some more photos, one week after my well-received photo gallery of USC linemen, both in practices and the LSU victory.

Saturday night, the USC defense pitched a shutout. It was so great to see the guys hollering and celebrating when Utah State’s field goal attempt inside the two-minute mark of regulation stayed left of the upright. USC had allowed Utah State to get the ball to the Trojan 20-yard line, but then two negative plays pushed USU all the way back to the 35, making the field goal attempt a lot harder. It was a classic case of guys fighting to the very end and not taking a single play off. That mentality — Fight On! — is part of why this defense is so good and this team has a chance to be special.

Without further ado, here are exclusive Trojans Wire photos from my camera, as USC now gets a week off and prepares for the big one in the Big House on Sept. 21 at Michigan:
