Nebraska football had a strong start from the defense on Saturday night. Corner Tommi Hill picked off a Shedeur Sanders pass from the six-yard line and took it to the house for a touchdown. The pick-six gave Nebraska a 14-0 lead following the extra point.
It was another strong defensive play for a unit that was able to get pressure on Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders early. It will be interesting to see if the defense can continue this level of play throughout the course of the entire night. Nevertheless, the returns are strong early.
