Packers highlight: Jayden Reed scores 33-yard TD vs. Eagles

The Packers re-took the lead over the Eagles on Jayden Reed’s 33-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.

The Green Bay Packers re-took the lead over the Philadelphia Eagles on Jayden Reed’s 33-yard touchdown run in the second quarter of Friday night’s season opener in Brazil.

Reed took an end around moving left to right and got terrific blocks from Emanuel Wilson, Josh Myers and Rasheed Walker on his way to the end zone, giving the Packers a 12-7 advantage over the Eagles.

The scoring drive traveled 70 yards in only five plays. Wilson ripped off runs of 14 yards and 18 yards to get the Packers on the move.

Reed, a second-round pick of the Packers in 2023, had a touchdown catch negated in the first quarter on off-setting penalties.

As a rookie, Reed scored 10 total touchdowns, including two rushing. His touchdown run on Friday night was his third career rushing score.
