Duke women’s basketball freshman Arianna Roberson will miss the 2024-25 season due to a knee injury, the Blue Devils announced on Thursday.

Roberson, one of two five-star signees in the 2024 recruiting class, suffered the injury during the FIBA 3×3 U18 World Cup at the end of August.

The Texas native finished as the No. 17 prospect in the 2024 HoopGurlz Recruiting Rankings on espnW. She won a gold medal with the American team at the FIBA U18 AmeriCup earlier this summer, was named a McDonald’s All-American, and won a state championship during her junior year.

Listed at 6-foot-4, Roberson was also one of the two tallest players on the Blue Devils roster for this upcoming season.
