Broncos have an empty injury report going into Week 1

Ahead of Sunday’s game against the Seahawks, the Broncos did not list any players on their injury report Wednesday.

The Denver Broncos are in good health going into their Week 1 showdown with the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

Now that we’ve reached the first week of the NFL’s regular season, teams are required to release an injury report with statuses for players who miss practice or get treatment for injuries at the team’s facility.

Wednesday marked the first day Denver was required to release an injury report and the team had no players listed:

Every player on the team’s 53-man roster fully participated in Wednesday’s practice. Granted, the Broncos do have three players on injured reserve and two players on the physically unable to perform list.

Denver offensive lineman Quinn Bailey (ankle) and pass rusher Ronnie Perkins (undisclosed) were placed on the season-ending IR list this summer. Broncos cornerback Damarri Mathis (ankle) is on the short-term IR list and he will be eligible to return after four games.

Denver linebacker Drew Sanders (Achilles) and safety Delarrin Turner-Yell (ACL) will be eligible to return from the PUP list after four weeks.

The Broncos will practice again on Thursday and Friday with injury reports set to follow each practice.
