This eye-popping stat shows how high Rams’ ceiling is on offense – if stars stay healthy

When healthy, there wasn’t a better offense than the Rams’ last season

It’s not hyperbole to say the Los Angeles Rams have the potential to be the best offense in the NFL this season. With Matthew Stafford playing at an exceptionally high level, and with playmakers such as Cooper Kupp, Puka Nacua and Kyren Williams around him, this offense should be consistent and explosive.

That’s without even mentioning an offensive line that should be even better than it was last season, too.

The biggest question with this unit is whether everyone can stay healthy. That wasn’t the case last season, unfortunately. Stafford, Kupp and Williams all missed time with injuries, which limited how many snaps the Rams actually played with all of their top playmakers on the field together.

When they were all healthy, no offense generated more yards per play than the Rams last season. According to NFL Pro, the Rams averaged 6.8 yards per play with Stafford, Williams, Kupp and Nacua on the field, the best in the league.

As of now, all four are healthy to start the season. Stafford had a minor hamstring injury, Nacua dealt with a knee issue in camp and Williams had to manage a foot injury in the spring, but everyone is a full-go now.

It’ll be fun to see all of them leading the Rams offense this season, with Blake Corum, Demarcus Robinson and Colby Parkinson all contributing, too. The ceiling for this group is extremely high if they can avoid injuries.
