The Green Bay Packers listed five players, including receiver Romeo Doubs and rookie running back MarShawn Lloyd, on the team’s first injury report of the 2024 season released Tuesday. The Packers take on the Philadelphia Eagles in the season opener in Brazil on Friday.

Lloyd, who is still recovering from a hamstring injury, didn’t participate during Tuesday’s practice after participating on Sunday and Monday. Coach Matt LaFleur said the day off Tuesday was planned and not related to a setback, suggesting Lloyd could still be available for Friday.

Four players, including Doubs, were limited on Tuesday. Doubs has a hand injury. Like Lloyd, rookie linebacker Edgerrin Cooper (hip) and cornerback Carrington Valentine (hamstring) are still recovering from training camp injuries. Running back Emanuel Wilson was limited with a hip injury.

According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN, Doubs has a “contusion” on his hand, but the injury hasn’t affected his ability to catch the ball during practice.

LaFleur said Wilson had a strong practice Tuesday despite the injury.

Given the injury situation behind starter Josh Jacobs, the Packers will likely have to elevate a running back from the practice squad for Week 1. Veteran La’Mical Perine and Ellis Merriweather are options.

The Eagles listed four players on the first injury report, but two were rest related. Receiver A.J. Brown and guard Landon Dickerson were limited due to player rest, while cornerback Isaiah Rodgers (hand) and linebacker Devin White (ankle) were limited with injuries.
