The Cleveland Browns have awarded the naming rights to their stadium for the next 20 years. Cleveland Browns Stadium, and the prospective dome the team will be building in Brook Park, will show the name of Huntington Bank Field.
Formerly, FirstEnergy held the naming rights before their nuclear bribery scandal, leaving three executives with felony charges. The current stadium reverted to Cleveland Browns Stadium in 2023, but the naming rights have been re-awarded to Huntington Bank.

This agreement will last for 20 years. However, the Browns only have a lease on their current stadium through the next five seasons. As the team seems overly committed to building a dome in the suburbs, it is easy to see what the prospective field will be called as well.
The news is minor, it’s more money into the pockets of the ownership group that is more than willing to shell out to pay players upfront in contract restructures, but this has little impact on the day-to-day in Berea. Just go win games, starting this Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.
