The first week of Big Ten football is in the books. It went pretty much as expected, with the finishing touches being the USC Trojans defeating Brian Kelly and the LSU Tigers in Las Vegas on Sunday night.
UCLA barely defeated Hawaii, and Ohio State crushed Akron. One of the more surprising results was Oregon’s too-close-for-comfort win over Idaho.
Then again, it’s Week 1, the rust is being knocked off, and teams are figuring out what they look like with lots of changes.
