Eagles to debut a fresh, new uniform combination for matchup vs. Packers in Brazil

The Philadelphia Eagles will wear black helmets, white jerseys and black pants for the Week 1 matchup against Green Bay in São Paulo, Brazil

The Eagles will depart Wednesday morning for São Paulo, Brazil, where they’ll face the Green Bay Packers in an electric Friday night matchup.

Philadelphia is the home team, but they won’t be wearing green, choosing a fresh, new uniform combination they’ll wear for the first time. The Eagles have worn white jerseys and black pants before, but they’ve never included the all-black helmets with the look until now.

I will be watching to see what color combination the Packers will wear. Jeff Kerr of CBS Sports had previously reported that Corinthians has an informal ban on wearing green. The Eagles and Packers both have green jerseys, and Philadelphia has taken steps to conform to the uniform norms in Brazil.
