Texas A&M’s 2024 season opener vs. Notre Dame is just two days away, as new Aggies head coach Mike Elko will officially take the field after two seasons leading the Duke Blue Devils to an impressive 16 wins.
After leading the 2024 roster through a successful offseason, one of the questions many of us in the media posed regarded the uniform choice, the Aggies would go with for the opener, as a new coaching era deserves a new look, in my humble opinion.
After several press conferences, Elko hinted at the team’s color scheme. Texas A&M’s media team also teased the return of the white helmet, which was previously only utilized for road games, especially under former head coach Jimbo Fisher.
It’s official, as Texas A&M Football’s X post revealed that the Aggies will don the white helmet paired with the maroon jersey and white pants, something we have not seen in a while.
