Eagles release DT Marlon Tuipulotu

The Philadelphia Eagles are releasing defensive tackle Marlon Tuipulotu after claiming former Raiders third round pick Byron Young of waivers

After putting in a waiver claim and securing the services of Byron Young, the Eagles have announced that they are releasing veteran defensive tackle Marlon Tuipulotu.

The move gives the Eagles six defensive tackles: Jordan Davis, Byron Young, Jalen Carter, Thomas Booker IV, Milton Williams, and Moro Ojomo. This gives Vic Fangio a versatile, athletic, and powerful position group.

A star at USC, Tuipulotu was drafted by the Eagles in the sixth round of the 2021 draft and appeared in 14 games in 2023, recording 22 tackles and two sacks in 162 defensive snaps.
