Duke football reveals uniforms for Week 1 matchup against Elon

Check out what uniform the Duke Blue Devils will wear for their first football game in 2024.

The Duke football team released a social media video on Thursday to reveal its uniform combination for this week’s season opener against Elon.

The Blue Devils will wear white helmets with the word “Duke” in dark blue script, blue jerseys, and white pants.

If that combination sounds familiar, it’s because that’s the exact same uniform the team wore in last season’s debut against Clemson. The Blue Devils dominated the Tigers for a 28-7 victory a year ago, the school’s first top-10 win in more than three decades.

While the Phoenix aren’t within the top 10 in the country, the Blue Devils hope to get off to a similar start after a tumultuous offseason. New head coach Manny Diaz, first-year starting quarterback Maalik Murphy, and offensive coordinator Jonathan Brewer all work together for the first time on Friday, joining forces with returning stars Jordan Moore and Chandler Rivers helping them lead the way.
