Every Michigan football player to make a 2024 NFL 53-man roster

Congrats to these guys! #GoBlue

Michigan football may be set to kick off on Saturday but the NFL opens up its 2024 season the following week.

And there was a lot of movement on Wednesday as NFL franchises finalized their rosters.

Some players found themselves on the bad end of things. Recently traded to Seattle, linebacker Michael Barrett was cut from a team which features his former defensive coordinator as the head coach and position coach from Michigan coaching the same position in the pros. Donovan Peoples-Jones was cut by the Detroit Lions but was signed to the practice squad. Tight end Sean McKeon was also cut by the Lions. Jim Harbaugh’s Chargers cut wide receiver Cornelius Johnson, offensive lineman Karsen Barnhart, and Chris Hinton — all three former Harbaugh players.

But many got good news as they made their team’s 53-man rosters. Here’s who will be active for NFL opening day, including 40 players on 24 teams and 10 rookies.
