Penn State will hit the country roads to Morgantown, West Virginia to open its 2024 college football season against the West Virginia Mountaineers. It’s been a while since Penn State’s last visit to West Virginia, and it may be the last for quite some time with the close of a two-year home-and-home scheduling agreement.
Penn State and West Virginia have a long series history that dates back to the early 1900s, but Penn State’s move to the Big Ten in 1993 essentially put the series on ice until it was revived in 2023. Penn State enjoyed the home-field advantage under the lights to continue their winning history against West Virginia.
