Happy Tuesday, football fans. We hope you have your Saturday plans cleared for Bruins football. Just four days until the kickoff against the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors. Hawaii, as we mentioned yesterday won their opener in Week 0.
With four days to go, we have a pair of Bruins to celebrate.
The first Bruins football player is the quarterback. 4 on his jersey on the offensive side. The 6’3, 210lbs redshirt senior from Newport Beach California—the pride of Corono del Mar High School – Ethan Garbers. The quarterback has been at UCLA since January of 2021. He started his college career at Washington. He played 11 games and started 6 last season. His big game was against USC, where he threw three touchdowns in the win. He also ran for 37 in a big win over Colorado. Garbers will be starting behind center on Saturday when the Bruins take the ball.

The second is Bryan Addison. The 6’5, 195lbs defensive back from Gardena California, and Junipero Serra High School. He started his college career at Oregon and played in four games last season. He enrolled at UCLA in January and immediately was an Athletic Director’s Honor roll member for the Winter of 2024. Addison should be a nice addition to the defensive line for the Bruins in 2024.
