Caitlin Clark ties WNBA single-season rookie 3-pointers made record

Caitlin Clark did it in style, too.

Caitlin Clark made history again on Monday night during the Indiana Fever‘s 84-79 victory over the Atlanta Dream.

With her fourth made 3-pointer on the evening, Clark tied Rhyne Howard’s WNBA single-season rookie 3-pointers made record. It matched Howard’s 85 made 3-pointers during the 2022 WNBA season.

The best part? Clark sank the record-tying 3-pointer over Howard’s outstretched arms.

Clark finished her night with the four made 3-pointers, 19 points, seven assists, seven rebounds, two steals and one block. The 6-foot rookie guard had just two turnovers and finished 6-of-14 shooting overall.

The Fever improved to 14-16 on the season and 3-0 against the Atlanta Dream to capture the season series.

Indiana guard Kelsey Mitchell led all scorers with 29 points on 10-of 23 shooting. Fever forward Aliyah Boston tallied another double-double, registering 14 points and 11 rebounds in the win.

The Fever return to action on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at 6 p.m. on NBA TV versus the current No. 2 seed in the Connecticut Sun (22-7).
