The NASCAR Cup Series arrived at Daytona International Speedway, and the drama couldn’t have been higher. Josh Berry won Stage 1, while Joey Logano won Stage 2; however, neither won the event. [autotag]Harrison Burton[/autotag] won the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona, earning his first victory of the 2024 NASCAR season. Burton was able to beat Kyle Busch and Christopher Bell for his first career Cup Series victory while clinching a spot in the playoffs. The driver of the No. 21 Cup car entered Daytona as the last full-time driver in the point standings.

Burton’s win at Daytona is the biggest upset victory in the modern NASCAR playoff era. Wood Brothers Racing previously announced that Josh Berry will drive the No. 21 car in 2025, so this is the perfect sendoff. Burton is a Cup Series winner and has earned Wood Brothers Racing its 100th victory.
