Kentucky basketball is in hot pursuit of another top 25 2025 recruit

Kentucky basketball is pushing hard for 2025 guard Braylon Mullins.

Kentucky basketball got its first big recruiting win with the commitment from top 25 center Malachi Moreno. They have also begun to receive predictions to land top 10 player Jasper Johnson. Now, guard Braylon Mullins is the next big target.

Mullins is a 6’5″ shooting guard out of Indiana. He’s rated four stars by 247sports and is their number 23 overall player in the class. They have him as the number five shooting guard of 2025 as well.

When Moreno announced he was headed to Kentucky, he mentioned Mullins, having played with him previously. Moreno, speaking to Kentucky Sports Radio, said of Mullins: “I’m gonna make sure he puts this on.” He was referencing his Wildcats shirt.

Mullins would certainly be a good fit with Mark Pope’s offense. He’s a great shooter, and an offense featuring he, Moreno, and Johnson would be tough to defend.

Fans will see what happens with Johnson next week, and are hoping for more good news. After that, all eyes will be on Braylon Mullins.
