Packers sitting 38 players vs. Ravens, including all projected starters

The Packers are sitting all starters and important players in Saturday’s preseason finale vs. the Ravens.

The preseason finale will be a true evaluation game on the fringes of the roster for the Green Bay Packers. The team announced 38 players — including quarterback Jordan Love and all projected starters — won’t play against the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday at Lambeau Field.

On the Packers Radio Network pre-game show, coach Matt LaFleur said the starters got good work during Thursday’s joint practice, and the risk of playing important players wasn’t worth the reward.

Dillon (stinger), Lloyd (hamstring), Cooper (hip), Morgan (shoulder), Dillard (shoulder) and Waege (concussion) are all dealing with injuries. Rochell has a new hip injury.

All healthy players were in uniform for warmups.

Kickoff is scheduled for noon CT at Lambeau Field.
