9 days to go! Just 9 days and counting until the UCLA Bruins football team gets their 2024 season underway! Next Saturday, let the games begin! The Bruins will be in Hawaii taking on the Rainbow Warriors.
Today, let’s celebrate the single digits with a pair of Bruins football players. Both are wearing 9 on the uniform this season:
Dermaricus Davis is a 6’5, 187 freshman out of Altadena California. He went to Etiwanda High School and started his college career at Washington. He participated in the 2024 spring practices and then hit the transfer portal. He enrolled in June of 2024 at UCLA. Davis is one of many quarterbacks on the Bruins roster.

Kaylin Moore is a 5’11, 190lbs Senior out of Los Angeles. He went to Oaks Christian High School and started his college career at California. He is going to be one of the leaders of the squad. Moore is new to the squad, but a veteran presence. He played in 12 games and started in four last season for the Golden Bears. Before his time at California, he also played at Colorado for 2020 games
