TV, commentators set for Georgia-Clemson game

TV, commentators confirmed for Georgia’s season opener against Clemson at noon ET on Aug. 31

The Georgia Bulldogs and Clemson Tigers face off in Week 1 of the 2024 college football. The Georgia-Clemson game will be a noon ET on Aug. 31. The wait for college football is nearly over.

Georgia and Clemson play at in a neutral site game for a second consecutive time in series history. Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, will host the Aflac Kickoff Game between Georgia and Clemson.

The Georgia-Clemson game will be televised on ABC. The commentators for the contest are Sean McDonough (play-by-play), former Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy (analyst) and Molly McGrath (sideline).

Georgia and Clemson last played each other in the 2021 season opener at a neutral site in Charlotte, North Carolina. Back in 2021, Georgia defeated Clemson 10-3 behind an elite defensive performance, but very few players remain on either team from that meeting.

Georgia has won seven of its last eight meetings with Clemson. The Bulldogs have a 43-18-4 edge in the series history.
