Robert Griffin III gushes with praise for Broncos rookie QB Bo Nix

“His experience playing in multiple offenses throughout college is showing up in spades,” RGIII said of Broncos rookie QB Bo Nix.

Robert Griffin III is a Boliever.

After the Denver Broncos‘ preseason opener against the Indianapolis Colts, RGIII took to Twitter/X to praise rookie quarterback Bo Nix’s performance.

“Bo Nix was the most efficient QB in his draft class because of his ability to process complex schemes with ease and the QUICK RELEASE you see on this TD throw,” RGIII tweeted. “He showed that going 15/21 for 125 yards with 4 scoring drives in his preseason debut and his creativity too.”

This is the play RGIII referenced:

Nix followed that up with another impressive performance against the Green Bay Packers in Week 2 of NFL preseason, leading RGIII to tweet: “Bo Nix is QB1.”

Nix went 8-of-9 passing for 80 yards with one touchdown and no turnovers against the Packers.

“I want you to watch how CALM AND CONFIDENT Bo Nix’s feet are in connection with how INTENTIONAL he is with his eyes on the first throw,” RGIII tweeted. “HE IS SEEING IT SO CLEARLY. His experience playing in multiple offenses throughout college is showing up in spades. Bo knows football.”

Griffin played in the NFL from 2012-2020. He served as an analyst on ESPN from 2021-2024 before being let go this summer. RGIII now hosts an “Outta Pocket” podcast on his YouTube channel.
