LSU’s season-opener in Las Vegas vs. USC is officially sold out

LSU’s season-opener in Las Vegas against USC has now officially sold out.

For the fourth year in a row, LSU begins its season against power conference foe outside of the SEC. This time, its schedule takes it to Las Vegas for a game against Lincoln Riley and the USC Trojans.

A trip to Vegas is certainly an enticing one for both fanbases and if you’re still looking for a ticket, it seems you’re going to have to go the aftermarket route. According to the Modelo Vegas Kickoff Classic, tickets for the game officially sold out on Monday.

The game will be held as a standalone game on Sunday, Sept. 1. It will kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT.

These two teams enter 2024 in a similar spot as they have to replace top-two picks and Heisman-winners at quarterback while having a new defensive coordinator after a rough season in 2023. This game will be a key litmus test for both squads, and LSU needs to pass it if it has any hope of making a splash in an SEC that now looks pretty crowded.
