Alabama makes Top 10 for 2026 5-star safety

The Crimson Tide make the Top 10 for the elite safety.

Released on Saturday afternoon, the Alabama Crimson Tide were included in the Top 10 list for one of the nation’s premier safeties, Bralan Womack.

Alongside the Crimson Tide, the remaining programs included in Womack’s Top 10 were the Louisville Cardinals, LSU Tigers, Mississippi State Bulldogs, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Ohio State Buckeyes, Tennessee Volunteers, Texas Longhorns, and Texas A&M Aggies.

Womack is considered as the nation’s No. 23 overall prospect in the 2026 class according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, as well as the No. 3 safety in the cycle. A five-star prospect, Womack is also ranked as the No. 1 player in the state of Mississippi, attending Hartfield Academy.

There, Womack was a two-way standout for one of Mississippi’s top teams a year ago at the high school level, catching 10 touchdown passes alongside his 26 tackles recorded and seven INT’s on the defensive side of the ball.

Alabama’s 2026 recruiting class currently holds only one commitment at the moment.
