The North Carolina Tar Heels’ basketball will have a busy fall upcoming with visits for recruiting targets on campus.
As Hubert Davis and the Tar Heels look to secure their first commitment in the 2025 class, they will have several chances to impress recruits with these official visits. That includes the top overall prospect in the 2025 class, A.J. Dybantsa.
On Thursday, Dybantsa revealed six official visit dates for the fall including one to North Carolina from September 20-22. In addition to UNC, Dybantsa will also visit Kansas State (August 30), Kansas (Sept. 6), Alabama (Sept. 27), Baylor (Oct. 4) and BYU (Oct. 11).

The top overall recruit will spend time with the current roster in Chapel Hill and will likely take in the football team’s home game against Charlotte that Saturday as well.
The 6-foot-9, 200-pound Dybantsa has 29 offers but is starting to take the next steps in his recruitment as evidenced by these visits. It’s tough to tell who the overall leader is early on but there have been whispers that BYU could be the team to beat in a recruitment featuring some Blue Blood programs.
The good news for UNC is that they do get the chance to impress him with a visit in September and it could go a long ways in potentially landing him as a prized recruit in the 2025 class.
