PERTH, Australia – Open workouts ahead of the fight between middleweight champion [autotag]Dricus Du Plessis[/autotag] and former champ [autotag]Israel Adesanya[/autotag] took place Thursday, and MMA Junkie was on the scene for the festivities.
Adesanya (24-3 MMA, 13-3 UFC) challenges Du Plessis (21-2 MMA, 7-0 UFC) for the middleweight title in Saturday’s UFC 305 (pay-per-view, ESPN, ESPN+) main event at RAC Arena in Perth, Australia.
Before they get there, though, they attended open workouts, with Adesanya lightly hitting pads, and handing out free tickets to the fans with the best questions. One fan in particular won Adesanya over and was awarded two free tickets.
