The Atlanta Falcons are a just few days away from their second preseason game and for the second week in a row, all eyes will be on quarterback Michael Penix Jr. The rookie had a promising debut against the Miami Dolphins and will look to build upon it with another good performance against the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday afternoon.
Penix’s cannon arm was on display during Wednesday’s training camp practice. Atlanta’s first-round pick uncorked a deep ball for sixth-round pick Casey Washington. Watch below, as shared by the team’s Twitter account.

Penix got the start and made some nice throws during Friday’s 20-13 loss to the Dolphins. The rookie completed nine of 16 passes for 104 yards in his preseason debut. Washington has also been impressive throughout camp.
