Jeremiah Owusu-Koramah signs an extension with the Cleveland Browns

JOK gets paid!

It was a bit surprising that former Notre Dame football star linebacker [autotag]Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah[/autotag] fell to the second round of the NFL draft.

His final year in South Bend was an epic one, where he won the Butkus Award and was a unanimous All-American. You would have thought that a resume like JOK’s would make him a day one pick, but what the rest of the NFL’s loss was the Browns gain.

Owusu-Koramoah has been fantastic at the highest level, earning praise as a rookie and finally breaking through this past year with his first Pro Bowl selection. The Browns saw all they needed to and signed him to a 3-year contact on Wednesday.

The deal is worth up to $39 million as Ian Rapoport reported, with $25 million of it guaranteed. Congrats on the new contact and future success in Cleveland Jeremiah!
