The countdown until the start of Nebraska’s 2024 season on August 31 against the UTEP Miners is just 18 days, which brings Texas wide receiver transfer Isaiah Neyor into today’s player spotlight.
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound senior from Fort Worth, Texas, is entering his first season with the program after previously spending time with Wyoming and Texas. He was an All-Conference honoree at Wyoming before having a pair of disappointing seasons in Austin, recording one reception for 14 yards. In 2022, Neyor suffered a season-ending injury in fall camp and did not play, and in 2023, he played in only the Longhorns’ season opener against Rice.
This fall, Neyor is expected to be the Gophers’ starting wide receiver and one of the program’s top targets for freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola.
