Will this be Patriots’ starting offensive line in matchup vs Eagles?

This combination is different than anyone expected

The New England Patriots’ offensive line has been one of the major storylines for the team throughout training camp.

They have constantly changed up their top unit to find their best combination. Injuries haven’t helped matters as the team prepares for a Week 2 preseason showdown with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Monday’s practice might have provided a bit more clarity as to what the line could look like this week.

Per CLNS Media’s Mike Kadlick, the Patriots trotted out an offensive line with Vederian Lowe at left tackle and Sidy Sow at guard. David Andrews manned the center position, while Mike Onwenu was slotted at right guard. Chukwuma Okorafor completed the line at right tackle.

The offensive line struggled at times last season, and there are concerns those issues could linger into 2024 as well. Facing an Eagles defense that could be one of the best in the league should be a challenging, yet necessary, measuring stick.
