In July, On3 predicted that Kentucky basketball would land 2025 recruit Malachi Moreno. Now, 247sports recruiting analyst Travis Branham has made the same prediction.
The 6’11”, 230 lb Moreno is one of the top centers in the 2025 class. He’s ranked as the number three player at his position, and 25th overall by 247sports. They have him as the top player from the state of Kentucky.

Coach Mark Pope has made keeping in-state talent in Kentucky a priority, and has heavily recruited Moreno. He’ll be paying a visit to Pope and the Wildcats this fall, coming in for Big Blue Madness. Fans would love to see him locked in after that.
Pope’s 2025 class will be his first true recruiting class at Kentucky, and expectations are high. Moreno would be a tremendous addition the roster, and would be a great start to the class for Pope and his staff. Big Blue Nation will be watching this closely.
